Fund History

Honoring Parsonage’s Service

During his tenure as Northland’s 10th president (1987-2002), Robert Parsonage promoted by example and espoused the ideal of the “servant leader.” His model demonstrates that servant leaders use their vision in service to society. It is Bob’s wish to nourish students’ imagination and to prepare them in becoming the citizen-leaders of the future. This fund was established in honor of his service to the college community and is designed to provide financial support for student-initiated leadership projects.
