Enjoy the thrill of discovery as you explore Stockton Island in Lake Superior’s Apostle Islands National Lakeshore. We’ll learn about some of the great Lake Superior shipwrecks, identify woodland plants and wildlife, and experience our senses during a night hike adventure, and uncover the history of the Ojibwe and French fur traders. We’ll also get to know the National Park Service and discover what National Park status means and why protection of public land is so important to our lives.
