“Beauty and grace are performed whether or not we will or sense them. The least we can do is try to be there.” – Annie Dillard
Woods and water have always been a place of special inspiration. Discover stories beneath the pine boughs through gentle exploration and guided visualizations. You’ll interpret the natural world in a spiritual context and process your response through various creative projects like printmaking, storytelling, stenciling, collaging, and whatever else may call to you. Time is set aside for both instructed activities and personal reflection.
The program takes place at Forest Lodge, a unique and historic estate nestled among 872 acres of majestic forest in the heart of the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest and situated along the pristine shores of Lake Namekagon. The old growth forest and serene water is sure to awaken your senses and rejuvenate you.
