Emergency Contraception
Available without a prescription to any adult at most pharmacies for around $50. Available at Walgreens anytime the store is open. Female students can also plan ahead and procure free emergency contraception by speaking to the campus nurse during business hours.

Northland College strongly encourages students to carry health insurance and to be aware of the benefits that are available to them in the Ashland, Wisconsin, area. Students should come to campus with their health insurance card.

Student athletes are required to carry health insurance while in season. Contact your athletics department for more details.

International students are required to carry health insurance and submit proof of same to the campus nurse before July 31. Please contact the campus nurse at healthservices@northland.edu for more information.
