General Visitors

Visitor parking is allowed in the general lots with a temporary permit. Temporary permits may be obtained by contacting Campus Safety (call 715-682-1399 to schedule an appointment to pick one up in 237 Mead Hall).

Visitors for Admissions Events and Campus Tours

The Office of Admissions issues parking permits for prospective students and their families who schedule a campus tour or attend a Visit Day or other admissions event. Contact the Office of Admissions if you have questions or have not received parking information.

• Student parking permits are available for purchase. Log in if you aren’t already, then click on the “Go to CASHNet” link which will take you to a page where you can purchase your parking permit.
• New students will be provided an opportunity to buy a parking permit during Orientation.
• Parking enforcement begins at midnight on the first day of classes.

Parking passes will be available to pick up within forty-eight hours of purchase by emailing Campus Safety or calling 715-682-1399.

Parking violation fees are dependent on the specific violation; pricing generally ranges between $25 and $50. On and after the fourth ticket issued to you within an academic year, the pricing will be doubled. Prices are noted on the ticket.

Please limit appeals to circumstances in which the parking ticket was issued in error, e.g. you did not commit a violation.

Being ticketed for a short stop in violation of parking policy or because no other campus parking was available is not an acceptable appeal.

Appeals must be received within two weeks of the date of issue of the ticket.
