Need a little extra food? Northland’s chapter of the Food Recovery Network safely takes leftover food from Chartwells dining service to the Larson Food Lab where they turn it into soups and/or package and freeze it for distribution to both students in need and The BRICK Ministries, a faith-based nonprofit organization serving low-income residents of Ashland and Bayfield counties.

The ReUse Room is a thrift shop staffed by students and volunteers. Donations from students, staff, and faculty include used clothes, CDs, books, gear, and household items. All items are free. Find something for your dorm room, a gift, or that amazing thing you didn’t know you needed but can’t possibly live without!
Students who have an active ID can access and enjoy perusing through our displays. All we ask is that you give back by taking a few minutes to help keep things tidy and organized.
The donation bin is located at the top of the ramp outside of the townhouse basement. You can also join the Northland College Reuse network on Facebook.
