Authorship - Who Did The Work or Assisted You?
Discuss authorship prior with your faculty research supervisor before submitting to ensure all coauthors are appropriately recognized on your poster and indicated on this form.
The project’s principal investigator (which may be the same as your faculty research supervisor) and any other agency partners are examples non-students who should be included, if applicable.
Instructions for listing collaborators
Please list only one person per line like so:
Bobbi Smith - firstname.lastname@example.org - Business Administration Major, English Minor
List name(s), Northland email address(es), and majors/minors of additional students who are working on this project with you.
NOTE: Only one student from the group needs to submit information about your work on this form.
List name(s) and position titles of other research collaborators (aside from students) who are working on this project with you.
List the major or minor that most directly relates to your research. If you are doing this research as part of a class, list which major and/or minor the credits from that class are satisfying.
Faculty Research Supervisor
This is the professor who is overseeing your work and research. They will need to review your poster and written abstract before you submit the final versions. If you are doing this research as part of a class, the faculty research supervisor is likely the professor teaching that class.
- Erik R. Olson, Associate Professor of Natural Resources
- Please use the Northland College directory to ensure the title you are submitting is accurate.
About Your Research
It’s possible that your title will change by the time you finish your project. Let us know what you’re working with now—you can let us know if it changed when you submit your final materials.
Please list any other additional information that is relevant to the work you plan on presenting, but not captured in the above questions.
Example – “I’ve received approval by email (DATE) from Julie Winter to design my poster in a vertical layout (rather than horizontal).”
